He was a member of NRA. He loved hunting and NASCAR.

Wife: Debbie Manbevers, of the home; three sons, Gary, Scott and Tristan; two daughters, Marsha and Trisha; one sister, Beverly Baldwin; grandson Nathan of the home; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
