GREAT BEND — Delores R. Ochs, 91, died Aug. 22, 2016 at her home in Great Bend. She was born Jan. 19, 1925 at Milberger, the daughter of Ben & Lydia (Miller) Boxberger. She married Edwin Ochs April 20, 1947 at Otis Lutheran Church, Otis.  He died August 5, 1980. A homemaker, Mrs. Ochs was a Great Bend resident. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing and playing cards.

Survivors include one son Darrell Ochs and his wife Kathy of Great Bend; one brother, Eugene Boxberger and his wife Jackie of Everton, Mo., two grandchildren, Nickie Ochs and Darren Ochs; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Duane Ochs, three sisters and one brother.  

A memorial service will be at a later date. Memorials are requested to the Great Bend City Band, in care of Bryant Funeral Home
