Dateline: DERBY, KANSAS

Barbara Knoll, beloved mother, 85, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Villa Maria, Mulvane, Kansas. She was born February 24, 1931, the daughter of Joseph P. and Clara (Reidel) Billinger.
Barbara was a retired aircraft mechanic that was always a hard-working and wonderful role model. Her family remembers her as the strongest woman they ever knew.
She will be truly missed by her children, Karen Zehring, Barbara (Mike) Knight, Sharon (Ron) Calabretto, and John Knoll; grandchildren Mindi and Jeremy (Kenly) Zehring, Justin (Rochell) Knight, Stephanie (Josh) Crawford, John Knoll, Jr., and Crystal Lowry; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters Clementine Shives and Rosie Fabricus.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19th, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby.
Family will then greet friends on Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 1:00 until Rosary at 1:30 p.m., at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home Chapel, Led by Father Anselm Eke. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
