Lloyd married Virginia R. “Sue” Schmitt June 11, 1962 at Ellinwood, KS.
A long-time resident of Great Bend, Lloyd was a truck driver for Rainbow Trucking, retiring in 2013, and was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose, Great Bend. In his youth, Lloyd played semi-pro baseball, playing slow pitch until the age of 46.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Stroud; three brothers, Charles Stroud, William Stroud, Donald Stroud; and by two sisters, Vernastine Beaty, and Maxine Hoggatt.
