OBITUARY INFORMATION
Married Lois Jean Wolf October 28, 1951 at Trinity Methodist Church, Russell, Kansas.
He was postmaster at the Raymond, Kansas Post Office for 31 years.
Mr. Starbuck was a Great Bend, Kansas resident for 35 years coming from Raymond, Kansas.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Great Bend.

He was a decorated Army Reserve Veteran of the Korean War, having previously served with the Army in the Pacific and the occupation of Japan during World War II. He was a Past Commander in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a more than sixty year member of the American Legion, and a long time Adjutant of Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #27, Great Bend. In his youth, he was the first Eagle Scout of his troop and in later years served as Scoutmaster of that troop. He was a Past Master in the Masonic Lodge (Blue Lodge), Past Patron in the Eastern Star, was a member of the Shrine and had served on the local Shrine board.

Seven Grandchildren: Shane Popp, Jeremy Popp, Stephanie Lindsay, Cory Urban, Heath Urban, Dylan Ellis, Dustin Ellis
Great-grandchild: Eleven

He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul E. Starbuck; and one sister, Sarah Learned.

Place of Service: First United Methodist Church in Great Bend
Officiant: Rev. Tom Sheldon
Interment: Great Bend Cemetery, with military rites by the Fort Riley Honor Guard
