Jill DeWald Gregg, age 43 years, lifelong Great Bend, Kansas resident, passed away at her home in Great Bend on Monday, August 20, 2018 after a sudden illness. Jill was born on December 27, 1974 at Lindsborg, Kansas to Cory D. and Jannifer L. (Middleton) DeWald. She married Lance Gregg in June of 1996 – they later divorced. Jill had worked for the Comfort Inn Hotel as a Front Desk Clerk for the past two years. She loved her “fur-baby” dog Hurley, and loved spending time with her two sons, especially with all their sporting events while they were in school.

Jill is survived by two sons: Gage DeWald (and his fiancé, Jasmine Reyes) of Russell, Kansas and Hunter D. Gregg of Wichita, Kansas; one granddaughter, Paisley DeWald; her parents, Cory D. and Jannifer L. DeWald of Great Bend, Kansas; and her maternal grandmother, Anita Middleton of Hill City, Kansas. Jill was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Marvin Middleton and her paternal grandparents Rupert and Dorothy DeWald.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Charter Funerals in Great Bend, Kansas with Pastor Larry J. Schumacher officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Great Bend City Cemetery North in Great Bend, Kansas. The family requests that Memorial Contributions may be made to the Jill DeWald Gregg Funeral Expense Fund.
