OBITUARY INFORMATION
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, he worked for the Corps of Engineers in Kansas City.
He married Jane Olsen October 31, 1959 at Sparta, Wisconsin.
Mr. Bemis was a lifetime Great Bend, Kansas resident, and was owner and operator of Bemis Construction, Inc.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving as captain with the Army Corps of Engineers.
Mr. Bemis was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Beta Theta Pi, ROTC at Kansas State University, Kansas Contractors Association, Association of Oklahoma General Contractors, Kansas Brick and Tile Board of Directors, Kansas State Board of Technical Engineers.

Memorial Service: Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home

Inurnment: Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
