This month, the City of Great Bend announced a new member to the staff at the Great Bend Brit Spaugh Zoo. Danielle Ricklefs has joined as the new Zoo Educator, and talks about the overall outlook as she moves forward in her new position.

Ricklefs’ responsibilities will include planning, organization, and implementing educational content for zoo programs for all ages, as well as updating curricula to meet Kansas Standards, and teach various educational programs and presentations.
