OBITUARY INFORMATION
She was a graduate of McPherson College with a degree in home economics and was a high school teacher prior to her marriage to John Joseph Mingenback, D. D. S., on March 4, 1944 at Denver, Colorado. He died April 15, 2001. A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Mrs. Mingenback was a Great Bend resident since 1950. She loved learning and had a wide range of interests from sewing, cooking, gardening, studying the stock market and investments, ballroom dancing and traveling. Never tiring of trying a new hobby or staying informed about local and national news, she was an avid reader and fan of national current affairs broadcasts.
Mrs. Mingenback was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church, Episcopal Church Women, PEO Chapter DU, Progress Club, and Bloomer Girls, having held many leadership positions within the service organizations throughout her life.

One Daughter-in-law: Mary Fries Mingenback of Emporia, KS
One Sister: Maryann Finkle Shutler of Lawrence, KS
Five Grandchildren: Patti Mingenback and her husband Wasim Zaman of Overland Park, KS; Andy Mingenback and his wife Tina of Great Bend, KS; Matt Mingenback and his wife Brooke of Fort Worth, TX; Samantha Sheiner of Phoenix, AZ; and A. J. Sheiner of Phoenix, AZ
Three Great-grandchildren: Alyvia Mingenback, Ravi Zaman, and Georgia Mingenback
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Michael K. Mingenback.
