KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Police say the parents of a missing 10-month-old Kansas City, Mo., girl met with detectives, two days after investigators said the couple had stopped cooperating.
Police spokesman Capt. Steve Young says the parents of Lisa Irwin sat down with investigators Saturday afternoon. He declined to say what was discussed.
The couple reported their daughter missing Tuesday, saying she was snatched from her crib sometime overnight.
Communication between the girl's parents and police became strained late Thursday, when police said the parents had stopped cooperating.
The parents insisted they'd never stopped, but that they simply needed a break from incessant police questioning.
Investigators with metal detectors returned to their north Kansas City home Saturday, but Young says no new substantial leads have come in to investigators.
No arrests have been made.
