She was a computer programmer for many years prior to starting her own company, Imaginative Designs, Kansas City.
Mrs. Pierson was a Kansas City, Missouri resident since 1973 coming from Stafford County, Kansas.
She was a member of Kansas City Chiefs Redcoater, Power Chics Board of Directors, and Missouri Iowa Nebraska Kansas Women in Computing Web Chair (MINK WIC).
She was in the last graduating class at Prairie Home Country School. She was in the first graduating class from Barton County Community College. She was a 1973 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and a 1978 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, with a Masters of Business Administration degree.
