Kansas junior forward Thomas Robinson hyperextended his left knee at practice Thursday, KU coach Bill Self said Thursday night. According to head coach Bill Self, results from an MRI were negative and expects Robinson will take a couple of days off from practice and hopefully not miss any significant time.
Robinson, an All-America candidate this season, averaged 7.6 points and 6.4 rebounds last season. Robinson had surgery last season to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. Kansas plays an exhibition game at 7 p.m. Tuesday against Pittsburg State in Allen Fieldhouse.
