She graduated from Brown Mackie College and Barton County Community College.

She worked as a secretary in the oil and gas industry, being employed by Terra Resources and Phillips 66, and was a legal clerk for Kaufman & Horner Law Office.

Mrs. Yahne was a lifetime Great Bend, Kansas resident.

She was a member of First Christian Church, Barton County Desk and Derrick, Western Kansas Chapter of API, Oil and Gas Museum board, Girls Home board, and was a volunteer for the Barton County Food Bank.

Husband: Bruce E. Yahne, of the home

two sisters: Cuma Mae Zeltner of Pratt, KS, and Cheryl Maxine Logan and husband Jon of McKinney, TX

She was preceded in passing by a brother-in-law, Jim Zeltner.
