Mr. Keil was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1942 coming from Rush County, KS.
He served during World War II as a Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class in the U.S. Navy.
Melvin was a member of the American Legion Argonne Post #180, V.F.W. Post #3111, a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, and a life member of the D.A.V., in which he served as Past Commander.
