Norma Pauline Kasselman, 96, Pawnee Rock, Kansas passed away Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 at the Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood, Kansas. Norma was born July 17, 1917 in Columbus, Kansas to Emma (LeCleff) and James Argyle.

A lifetime resident of Pawnee Rock, she was a member of the Pawnee Rock United Methodist Church and an active member of the United Methodist Women’s Society and the Ark Valley Grange.

On June 5th, 1937, she married Emmett “Johnny” Kasselman in Ellinwood, Kansas. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2001.

Survivors include three sons: Keith (Alta) of Pawnee Rock, Willard “Woody” (Luellen) of Olsburg, Kansas, Elmer (Vera) of Larned, Kansas and one daughter Edna (Ed) Dutton of Yuma, Arizona, 29 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Alma and Elaine and brothers, Jimmy, Clyde, and Glen.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
