A roughneck for Woodman-Iannitti Drilling Co., Virgil was a lifetime resident of Hoisington, living in Buhler since 2010.
He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, both of Great Bend.
Virgil was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman Hogan and Charles Riedl, and by two sisters Mary Rose Robbs and Carol Strobel.
