He founded M and M Equipment in 1975, retiring in December 2012.

Mr. Johnson was a long-time Great Bend, Kansas resident, previously residing in Phillips, Texas, Odessa, Texas, and Enid, Okla.

He was a member of A. F. & A. M. Lodge #15, Isis Shrine, Western Kansas Chapter of American Petroleum Institute, Kansas Oil and Gas Museum Foundation, and Past Oilfield Division Chairman of United Way of Central Kansas.

Two Grandsons: Chad Johnson of Great Bend, KS and Kyle Johnson and his wife Caitlyn of Casper, WY

 

 

SERVICE INFORMATION

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2014 at First Christian Church in Great Bend with the Reverend Joshua Leu officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside rites will be in Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Bryant Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Almost Home, Inc., a residential end of life care facility, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
