She married Robert Gilmore Ewing June 14, 1947 at Great Bend, Kansas. They later divorced. She then married Darrel Herman Moore July 11, 1992 at Great Bend, Kansas. He died October 20, 2007.
A lifetime resident of Great Bend, she was a cook for USD #428, a secretary for Gibson, Titus and Stafford and retired as a clerk for Centel.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, where she was a past officer. She was also a 4-H leader and worked at Noah’s Ark Preschool.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Gary Ewing, one daughter-in-law, Mona Ewing, and one infant sister, Margaret Stanley.
