OBITUARY INFORMATION

He was a 1983 graduate of Hoisington High School.

A lifetime Hoisington resident, John was a farmer and had previously ran the maintainer for South Homestead Township. He had also driven a bus for USD 431, Hoisington.

He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, was a member of the Labor Day Clown Committee.

two sisters: Michelle Kultgen and her husband Keith of Sulphur Springs, TX, and Melissa Cowles and her husband Patrick of Hutchinson, KS

one brother: Jerald Stoss and his wife Dana of Hoisington, KS

three grandchildren: Madison Henning, McKenna Schmidt, and Rylee Baird and another little Stoss on the way

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward John Stoss and one sister, Melinda Stoss.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Rosary will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 5, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hoisington, with Father Charles Mazouch celebrating. Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery, Hoisington, Kansas. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, 415 N. Main, Hoisington, KS. Memorials are requested to the John E. Stoss Memorial Fund, in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home
