A lifetime resident of Great Bend, Jim was a welder for McDonald Tank and Equipment, Inc., for more than forty years, and also formerly owned and operated Lofland Landscape Turf & Irrigation.

He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Great Bend. He touched many lives through his generosity and gentle spirit.
