He married Verda DeYoung December 27, 1955 at Palco, Kansas.

A Great Bend, Kan. resident since 1962, coming from Hill City and Plainville, Kan., Mr. Guthrie was owner and operator of Guthrie Trailer Sales, Inc., Great Bend, Kan. He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of First Assembly of God, Great Bend, Kan.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015 at First Assembly of God in Great Bend with Pastor Dave Divine and Pastor Dwight Dozier officiating.

Interment: Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas, with military rites by Fort Riley Honor Guard

Visitation:  9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home
