It appears that the new football coach at Hays High School will be Cimarron head coach Randall Rath.

Catchitkansas.com was the first to report that Rath would be leaving Cimarron after one season to replace Bo Black, who left Hays following the 2014 campaign.

Cimarron Athletic Director David Ediger confirmed the news to Catchitkansas.com’s Reggie Wilson. Ediger said he discovered Rath would be leave on Tuesday night. Rath told the players on Wednesday morning.

Prior to his one year at Cimarron, Rath spent more than two decades as the head coach at Oakley high school.
