Shawn L. Adams, 47, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kan. She was born September 20, 1967 in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Richard Olsen and Carol Street-Propst.

Shawn was employed at Rosewood Services as a horticulturist.  As an avid gardner, she enjoyed working in the Greenhouse and volunteering her time at the local Farmers Market.

Survivors include her mother, Carol Propst of Grand Island, Neb.; sisters Amanda Moura and husband Edward of Grand Island, Neb., and Shannon Rieger of Omaha, Neb.; brothers Casey Parkins of Grand Island, Neb., and Anthony Bruno of Arkansas; daughters Ashley Adams and husband David of Nickerson, Neb. and Elizabeth Parkins of Scottsbluff, Neb.; sons Calvin Parkins of Crawford, Neb., and James Parkins of Freemont Neb.; and ten grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at the Rosewood Memorial Garden, 384 N. Washington, Great Bend, Kan. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to the Shawn Adams Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
