Leona Cecelia Robinson, 93, died March 17, 2015, at NHC Healthcare, Town and Country, Missouri. She was born October 15, 1921, in Odin, Kansas, the daughter of Hubert and Helena “Lena” (Hickel) Zorn.
On May 15, 1946, she married Woodrow W. Robinson in Meadville, Mississippi. He died June 10, 2002.

Woodrow and Leona resided in Bunker Hill, KS, for six years and Natchez, MI, for six years before moving to Hoisington in 1954. She resided in the Hoisington and Great Bend Area until 2003, when she moved to Harrisonville, MO, and then to the St. Louis area.

Leona worked for the Hoisington Dispatch from 1965 to 1983. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Great Bend, KS and also volunteered for the local Girl Scouts and 4-H programs.

Survivors include two daughters; Judi Drake and Brenda Webb, both of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren – Corey Webb and wife Jami, and children Avery and Carter of St. Louis, MO; Scott Webb and wife Meredith of O’Fallon, MO; and Jason Drake and wife Marlisa and children Taylor, Josh & Brayden of Russell, KS, also Nicole Leon of Bushton, KS and Hayley Ross of Great Bend, KS; Carl Drake and wife Julie of Justin, TX and children Kevin & Kayla; Dottie Drake of Maryville, WA and children Heather, Bobby, Tommy, Renee, Kristen and Zach; Nita Schuster-Drake of Clinton, MO and children Tyler and Megan; Denise Seely and children Faith and Briley of Wichita, KS; Shelly Mallow and children Ashley & Garret; Kimberly Manuel and husband Howard of Wylie, TX and children Linda, Chelsea and Makayla; Melissa Fitch of Belton, TX and children Justin, Austin, Gaige & Wesley; and Amanda Molnar and husband Terry of Monument, CO and children Travis and Janie; and 14 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Ray and Vernon Zorn; and six sisters, Gertrude Loper, Bridget Pittser, Loretta Black, Marcella Cates, Marjorie Hoke and Alice Zorn.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church, Great Bend, with Rev. Dr. Scott Solelether presiding. Interment will follow in the Hoisington City Cemetery. Friends may call 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, with family to receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
