Everett L. Eldridge

EldridgeBurdett – Everett L. (Pee Wee) Eldridge, 84, passed away March 21, 2015 at the Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.

He was born June 12, 1930 in Valley, Nebraska; the son of Archie L. and Minnie J. Dodson Eldridge. A longtime area resident; he was a manager for Bert and Wetta Sales Inc. for 33 years.

He was of the Christian faith, a member of the American Legion, Burdett and the Lions club, Rozel. He served in the United States Marine Corps.

On October 5, 1957 he married Donna Chandler in North Holywood, California. She survives.

Other survivors include; three sons, Charles, Lexington, Nebraska, Brad (Lori), Highlandville, Missouri and Rod (Trudi), Burdett; two sisters, Lois Thomas, Kearney, Nebraska and Betty Lou (Marvin) Abels, Amherst, Nebraska; seven grandchildren and about 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by; a son, Ray.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Brad McCoy presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Brown’s Grove cemetery, Burdett, Kansas with military graveside rites.
