Date of Birth: Born Charles Orman Bear on March 5, 1926 at Cortez, Colorado, the son of Orman and Philomena (Swan) Bear, he was later adopted by Clarence M. “Bud” Fox and his name changed to Carl Marcus Fox.

 

OBITUARY INFORMATION

 

He married Catherine Rupert January 1, 1949 at Pueblo, Colorado. They later divorced. He then married Billie Jean Webber June 4, 1997 at Westcliffe, Colo. She died October 28, 2002.

Mr. Fox was an Ellinwood, Kansas resident the past two years, moving to be close to his daughter and her family, he was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.

Mr. Fox was a United States Army veteran, serving during World War II.

one son: Carl Fox II and his wife Murial of Fiji

one daughter: Linda McCaffery of Ellinwood, Kan.

one sister: Zelma Jean Cooley of Scottsdale, Ariz.

two grandchildren: Aaron McCaffery and Renee and  Patrick McCaffery and Angie

four great-grandchildren

 

SERVICE INFORMATION

There will be a private family graveside inurnment will be at a later date in Rosita Cemetery, Rosita, Colorado. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to Hospice House of Reno County, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
