Mrs. Maneth was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Altar Society, Great Bend.

Tom married Reva Gilliss September 11, 1965 at Great Bend, KS. She died April 10, 1991. He later married Liz (Rebel) Kerns, and were later divorced but remained close.
He served his country as an Underwater Demolitions Team member during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He was also one the first instructors at the Navy SEAL school in Little Creek, Virginia.
A Pawnee Rock, Kansas, resident, since 2006, Tom was a directional driller consultant, traveling around the world.
He was a member of the American Legion, Post 320, in Ellinwood, KS and an avid five point pitch player.

A long time Hoisington, Kansas resident, Alyce also lived six years in Chicago, moving back to Hoisington in 1974.
She was a para for USD 431 for many years, working at Roosevelt, Lincoln, and Hoisington Middle School. From 2008 -2013, she assisted her husband in managing the Club House at Lake Barton Golf Club. Alyce was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was involved in many committees, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary, both of Hoisington. She was also involved in Rainbows during her High School years, and later played an integral part in the development of Kans for Kids.

Ilomay (Rusty) Williamson, Darner, 84, passed away March 13, 2016, at The Good Samaritan Society, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born March 12, 1932, in Hoisington, Kansas, to Ivan and Edith Blanche (Hanson) Williamson.
Ilomay was a 1950 graduate of Hoisington Rural High School, attended Wichita State University, and later transferred to K-State University where she graduated in 1955 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education. She later obtained her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at Western State University in Colorado.
On December 23, 1956, Ilomay married Dennis L. Darner at the First United Methodist Church, Hoisington, Kansas. They moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to begin their teaching careers. They later divorced. Ilomay remained in Colorado Springs, and continued to teach band for thirteen years, then fourth grade elementary for twenty-two years before retiring. She then continued to volunteer in the band/music department as needed until 2004, when she moved to Hutchinson, Kansas, to live with her sister. Ilomay was a member of the KAPA DELTA Social Society at K-State, the Future Teachers of America; a member of CSTA, CEA, and PERA in Colorado, and a lifetime member of NEA. She loved God, her family, music, teaching, and her beloved K-State Wildcats. She was an avid supporter of Kansas State University and she attended Faith United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, KS, along with her sister.
Survivors include two sons: Rhett A. Darner of Deering, NH, and Rhandel L. Darner and wife Beth of Bremerton, WA; five grandchildren: Neena, and Rhett (RJ) Darner, Jr. of Deering, NH, and Levi (Mikaela) Darner of Seattle, WA, Zachary and Noah Darner of Bremerton, WA; two great-grandchildren; Pason Searles and Charles Foye both of Deering, NH. Other Survivors include: two brothers, Clayton (Teddy) Williamson of Hoisington, KS, and Gilbert (Jacque) Williamson of Hutchinson, KS, and one sister, Joy Unruh of Smithville, MO, formerly of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at First United Methodist Church, Hoisington, KS, with Rev. Dr. Reuben Lang’at presiding. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be at a later date. Alice Carrola Ochs Batt, 93, died March 31, 2016, at Clara Barton Hospital.

She was born September 7, 1922, on the family farm in northern Barton County, the daughter of Emanuel and Martha (Steinert) Ochs.

She was baptized in the Reformed Church in Northern Barton County, KS, and later attended and was confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Galatia, KS.

On February 15, 1942, she married Robert Batt at Bender Hill Church, in southern Russell County, Kansas. They then became members of the Bender Hill Church. When the Bender Hill Church closed she became a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hoisington. Robert preceded her in death on May 5, 1996.

Alice was also a member of the HDU Club in Milberger and was a life member of both the American Legion Auxiliary, Hoisington, and the Elks Lodge #1715, Russell.

She is survived by a son, Eugene Batt and wife Dorothy of Hoisington; a daughter-in-law, Carla Batt of Victoria, KS; two grandchildren, Tim Batt and wife Tammy of Russell, KS, Laurie McQuade and husband Eric of Munjor, KS; step grandchildren, Doug Dolechek and wife Stacy of Hoisington, Diane Durland and husband Ron of Great Bend, Debbie Folk and husband Max of Chugiak, Alaska; Denise Schmidt and husband Eric of Claflin; five great grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two sons, Dale and Larry Batt; brother, Waldine Wagner and his wife Verne; three sisters, Doris Karst and her husband Albert, Eldora Brower and her husband Leon, and Lila Jean Haberman and her husband Larry.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 4th, 2016, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, with Rev. Shelly Klingensmith and Pastor Larry Schumacher presiding. Burial will follow in the Hoisington City Cemetery.
