Married Anita Marlene Robertson June 7, 1959 at Great Bend, Kansas. She died July 26, 1970. He married Betty Keck in 1972 and they were later divorced.

He was parts manager for John Deere and Gibson Titus & Stafford in Great Bend; and was a tools salesman for Snap-on Tools and Mac Tool in Colby and Grand Junction.

Mr. Resner was a Grand Junction, Colorado, resident since 1972 coming from Colby and Great Bend, Kansas.

He was a United States Navy veteran.

He was a member of Western Slope ATV Club and was a charter member of the Grand Junction Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed traveling, restoring antique tractors, and attending tractor shows and pulls.

Maxine Foster

Pawnee Rock – Maxine Foster, 93, died May 25, 2013 at her home in Pawnee Rock.

She was born September 13, 1919 in Pawnee County, the daughter of Earl and Effie Logan Brannan. A life time area resident, she was a homemaker a bookkeeper and a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She belonged to the First United Methodist Church, Larned and she loved to farm, garden, fish and to be with her family and friends.

On July 16, 1941, she married Doyle Cooper Foster in McDonald, Kansas. He passed away on February 10, 2007.

Survivors include: a daughter, Kathleen Foster, Hutchinson; a daughter-in-law Phyllis Foster, Larned; two grandchildren, David Foster and wife Lynette, Denver, Colorado, Jami Davis and husband Travis, Denver, Colorado; six great grandchildren, Phoebe, Mia Maxine and Tate Davis, Malachi, Logan Mae and Willow Maxine Foster and her best friends, Gizmo and Muffy.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Foster; two brothers, George and Chester Brannan and a sister, Edwina Hanshew.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.

He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, A. P. I., KIOGA, and the board of directors of the Kansas Oil and Gas Museum.

Mr. Linenberger was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1946.

He was a United States Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 1276th Engineer Combat Battalion in Holland, Germany, and Iceland. 

He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.  He was a former member of Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars #3111.  He enjoyed bowling, dancing, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
