OBITUARY INFORMATION
Married Wanita “Sandy” Basgall February 7, 1953 at Hays, Kansas.
At age fourteen he began playing with his family’s dance band, The Troubadours, and then with the Eddie Basgall Orchestra. He owned and operated his body shop from 1969 to 1989, taking pride in the finished product. He then was an auto damage appraiser until retiring in 2001. He sponsored a softball team during the time he owned the body shop which was a great joy because of the dedicated players who won many trophies.
Mr. Basgall was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1953 coming from Hays, Kansas.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, both of Great Bend.

Boots Maltby and her husband Bob of Great Bend, KS
Five Grandchildren: Barry Stalcup and his wife Daphne, Taylor Basgall and his wife Katie, Emma Drees, Riley Drees, and Keenan Drees
Three Great-grandchildren: Mason Stalcup, Kennedi Stalcup, and Averi Stalcup
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed Basgall and Del Basgall.
