OBITUARY INFORMATION

Mr. Brummer married Beth Melton October 28, 1967 at Beloit, KS.  She survives.

He retired from Barton Community College in 2007, working in the maintenance department and also drove the bus.  Previous to that, he worked at Great Bend Auto as a machinist.  After retirement, he worked for the Sterling House and Prince of Peace Parish.

Mr. Brummer was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1981 coming from Beloit, KS.

He served in the National Guard. 

Mr. Brummer was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish.  He was an avid Kansas City Royals baseball fan, Kansas City Chiefs fan and fisherman. He was a regular Red Cross blood donor.

                           Roland Brummert of Beloit, KS

                           Clarence Brummer of Beloit, KS

6 grandchildren:  Adalyn Brummer, Brett Brummer, Malcolm Deason, Ivy Williams, Fain Johnson, Hailey Hicks

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Arlene Fischer.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend
