Roundtable discussion on mental health in the workplace

While the hour Tuesday, August 21 will but scratch the surface of the topic, the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce hopes you will engage in an important conversation about mental health in the workplace.

From your employees’ safety and well being to their satisfaction and productivity, mental health awareness and response training is vital to the workplace.

Julie Kramp is the Executive Director at The Center for Counseling & Consultation in Great Bend.

A group of panel members from The Center will be leading the Employer Roundtable hosted by the Great Bend Chamber. The discussion on mental health in the workplace will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Page Banquet Room, 2920 10th Street.

Kramp says there will be many topics and tips on mental health revealed during the presentation.

The roundtable discussion will include resources and hotlines for business owners, information on how business owners can assist in promoting mental health to their employees, and potential indicators of depression.
